**Recovery Coordinator - Initial 12 Month Contract**

Join our successful South Tyneside adult recovery Service (STARS) as a Recovery Co-ordinator and become a part of a team committed to helping individuals achieve and maintain abstinence from issues with alcohol and other drugs. STARS provide a range of interventions to support positive behaviour change and recovery solutions, enabling health & well-being improvements that are meaningful and sustainable.
- **About the role**
The role of a Recovery Coordinator is to manage a service user caseload, delivering evidence-based interventions in line with individual recovery plans. This may include liaising closely with the full range of workers and skills within the service team as well as family members and significant others as appropriate.
- The successful post holder will match our organisational values, ambition and commitment to provide the highest standards of service delivery across South Tyneside.
- As a Recovery Coordinator you will deliver** Alcohol and Drug specific **knowledge, interventions and support, help set personal goals to support the service user achieve their goals in a safe and supportive way.
- Recovery Co-ordination is a diverse and rewarding role, Key Duties include:

- Manage an adult caseload of service users, delivering person centred care.
- Co-produce and review recovery and treatment plans.
- Facilitate and promote individuals’ progression from initial engagement, through structured treatment, to self-sustained recovery.
- Reduce alcohol/drug-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
- Working collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and well-being outcomes for individuals.
