**Northern Ireland Housing Executive - Building Surveyor - Armagh**

- Hourly Rate: £11.39 per hour
- Location: Armagh
- Hours of Work: 37 hrs per week, Monday to Friday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
- Holidays: 36 days pro rata
- Duration: Temporary, ongoing

**Duties include**:

- In technical, advisory, control and regulatory areas, the Building Surveyor will decide for example if the work quality, materials etc are acceptable and to specification.
- Give explanations of policy, procedures and regulations or resolve issues where doubt exists.
- Accessing/egressing from loft and roof spaces.

**Criteria**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional/technical qualification in a relevant Building/Construction discipline, plus 2 years post qualification relevant experience **OR **BTEC Higher Certificate/Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant Building/Construction discipline, plus 3 years’ relevant post-qualification experience OR can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development or experiential learning and at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong IT/ Microsoft Office skills
- Must have full current driving licence, access to a form of transport
- Role requires access/egress from loft and roof spaces - Good mobility required.
