Adele Carr are currently seeking a highly motivated and organised individual for a Temporary 6 month contract role as a Buyer/ Administrator. This role will be based in Knowsley and will provide a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to track and expedite the delivery of goods and services, ensuring they arrive on time and meet quality standards.

Monitor and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procurement policies and procedures.

Maintain effective communication with vendors, providing updates on order status, addressing any issues or delays, and fostering strong relationships.

Assist with sourcing and buying activities, including vendor research, price comparisons, and negotiation support.

Prepare and maintain procurement records, reports, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance and operations, to facilitate smooth order processing and resolve any discrepancies.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the procurement function.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a procurement or purchasing environment.

Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus.

Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Basic knowledge of procurement principles, including vendor management, purchasing processes, and expediting techniques.

A proactive and flexible approach, demonstrating the ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
