**About Transpower**:
Transpower is an electronics business providing complete assemblies to multiple industries including defence and aerospace for 30 years.

We design, develop, manufacture and test our products in-house so there is plenty of opportunity to move into another department should you wish.

**About the role**:
You will be required to solder a variety of components onto PCBs and complete the assembly by attaching the PCB to a baseplate or heatsink.

You may also be required to build prototypes which will involve working closely with the development team. This will mean asking plenty of questions and challenging the designers where necessary.

Transpower builds in batches, so you could be assembling anything from 5 units to 500+ units.

You will report to the Production Manager and work with a team to improve assembly processes.

Salary is negotiable.

We are looking for someone to start ASAP.

**This is an in-house role and not suitable for those wishing to work from home.**

**Requirements**:

- Previous soldering experience on PCBs, within last 5 years.
- Precision hand soldering required.
- Able to build to a bill of materials and assembly notes.

**Bonus skills**:

- Mechanical assembly experience.
- Wiring loom and/or cable assembly experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
