Nursery Cook

**We are seeking an experienced Nursery Childcare Cook to join our thriving team at our Bexleyheath nursery**

The heartbeat of our Nursery is our team and an important part of that team is our Nursery Cook, who provides nutritious and healthy meals for the children under our care.

Working hours are from 8am to 5pm

As it is a large nursery you have a kitchen assistant who works the full morning.

- Hold a level 2/3 health & hygiene qualification
- Have 1 years experience in similar role
- To ensure the kitchen and serving areas are maintained to the highest standards in terms of presentation and cleanliness.
- To be able to undertake any further duties assigned by the Nursery chef at Bexleyheath and Upper Abby Wood in relation to the kitchen, meals, serving and cleanliness.
- Be passionate about preparing fresh, balanced, nutritious meals

**Essential to role**
- A positive attitude
- Level 3 Food and Hygiene qualification
- A team player
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of basic health and safety and food safety
- Willingness to undertake further training as required
- COSHH Knowledge

**Salary**: £24,500.00-£26,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
