**Overview**:
Tracsis Events are looking for a dynamic, motivated and adaptable supervisor to oversee the staffing operation at our Coventry branch of the business.
As a Staffing Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the staffing team and maintaining the performance and day to day running of this branch of the department. You will oversee a team of Staffing Coordinators whose role is to fill event staffing requirements outlined by our project management team.
**Core Duties**:
- Ensuring staffing levels for events are met to a satisfactory standard, and quality of staff meets the necessary requirements for each project.
- Utilising recruitment platforms and initiatives effectively to ensure fulfilment of event staffing requirements.
- Leading initiatives for staff engagement to improve retention of casual staff, alongside new recruitment initiatives.
- Ensuring databases are being maintained and key data is being recorded.
- Allocating projects to team members and maintaining structure in the workplace for team members to fulfil staffing and administrative needs
- Assisting the team in day-to-day duties including project staffing; administrative tasks - accommodation bookings, purchase orders, staff profile vetting, timesheet processing and client enquiries; staff queries; social media management; liaising with agencies.
- Supporting and implementing updated engagement techniques, staff development, recognition and retention schemes, adding value and input where possible.
- Identifying problems ahead of time and using initiative to come up with creative and proactive solutions to solving them.
- Communicating with the operations team to identify resourcing requirements and facilitating additional project needs.
- Identifying areas for improvement from seasonal data analysis and outlining a route to better performance.
- Recruiting, training and line management duties of employees within the staffing team.
- Line manage the staffing team, ensuring welfare and workload are properly managed.
- Continuous analysis for development and improvement of all systems and processes for the department. Implementing required changes where identified.
- Review and oversee use of social media for staffing purposes and engaging with staff. Assisting with company-wide campaigns with the Business Development team.
- Working with the Staffing Manager on a collaborative approach to develop internal systems, processes and procedures.

**Desirable Knowledge and Experience**:
Event industry experience at any level, through education or work and/or leadership experience in an office-based setting. Experience with high volume temporary recruitment is also desirable.
