**Streetworks Co-ordinator**

**Full time, permanent post. £35,000 to £40,000**

You will provide administrative support to the Network Build and Civils teams, working closely with the Steetworks Officer, Project Management Office Manager, and subcontractors. You will be responsible for submitting Streetworks Installations notices to County Councils and any other duty deemed necessary by the Head of Infrastructure or Project Management Office Manager.

You must have experience of project scheduling (Microsoft Project would be an advantage), and experience in general admin duties and Microsoft Office, particularly with databases and spreadsheets.

We are looking for a team worker with a full driving license, with excellent oral, written communication, numeracy, planning, organisational and time management skills, who is able to work on own initiative and has a strong attention to detail.

You will need to demonstrate a track record of working in a Streetworks environment and should have a strong working knowledge of the Aurora software package and be confident dealing with construction contractors, the public and B4RN volunteers.

ROLE

You will provide administrative support to the Network Build and Civils Teams and will be responsible for submitting Streetworks Installations notices to County Councils.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Submit electronic notices for Streetworks Installations to all County Councils in relation to the B4RN network.
- Liaise with the Head of Infrastructure and Network Engineering Manager in creating written works notice plans including all details of location, method, contractor, times, dates and reinstatement for Streetworks installations.
- Submit works start, end, registration, cancellation and all other communications required to complete an installation via EtoN6.
- Report Fixed Penalty Notices or any other specific information received via EtoN6 to the Head of Infrastructure.
- Create works diagrams to visually show planned installations and once complete, create as-built diagrams to show actual installations.
- Liaise with the Head of Infrastructure, Network Engineering Manager, County Councils and Approved Contractors to ensure all documentation relating to an installation is complete and up to date.
- Collate utility searches, works diagrams and access information in order to create a works pack for the contractor to carry out the installation.
- Provide administrative support to other departments during busy periods and provide cover during holidays.
- Complete on-site surveys of proposed works within the public highways. Measure excavation requirements, determine required traffic management and conditions required for the Permit. Create quotation request and issue to contractor. Once quote received and authorised PO request sent to Finance dept, then issued to contractor.
- Process traffic management requests TTRO’s (Road Closures), Traffic signals, bus stop suspensions etc. Liaise with relevant HA’s in order to co-ordinate works in an effective manner.
- Managing streetworks charges - S74 overrun, FPN's. Carry out investigations to determine if charges are valid, log details on streetworks tracker, allocate to responsible party. Communicate with HA either to accept/dispute charge or in the case of S74 overrun only, enter into negotiation in order to attempt to reduce the charge. Issue of monthly reports to Head of Infrastructure.
- Managing HA defects and interims, issue to responsible party, log details on streetworks tracker, attend joint site meeting with HA if necessary, resolve any disputes and to ensure completion of remedial works within NRSWA code of practice timescales. Issue of monthly reports to Head of Infrastructure.
- Perform on site SLG/Reinstatement audits of works in the public highways in order to ensure compliance is maintained with regards Safety at Streetworks, NRSWA, SROH and National Permit scheme by contractors and B4RN internal civils team. Issue of monthly reports to Head of Infrastructure.
- Review all HA invoices related to Permit fees, inspection fees, traffic management fees and S74/FPN’s. Confirm to finance dept if correct and can be paid. If incorrect discuss with relevant HA in conjunction with finance dept to ensure invoice is corrected as required.
- Analyse streetworks performance data & trends and highlighting area's for improvement.
- Act as Primary/Admin contact for Symology, Street Manager UK and the Scottish Road Works Commissioner.
