**Hours**: 40 hours per week, working across day and night shifts

**Rate of pay**: £11.80 per hour

**About our service**

This services supports two ladies to live a fulfilling life within the community. They have lived together for over two years and both have well established routines. Both ladies have things they enjoy such as visiting family, local cat and dog cafés, local social club visits, watching game shows, cinema and theatre visits as well as supporting to learn new skills. The ladies appreciate an individual approach to their own support but do like to spend some time together in their home. Supporting with daily living skills on different elements is important in this role. Both ladies are independent in many elements on their support.

You will manage a team of around 5 staff members to ensure the needs of the ladies are met.

This is an opportunity for a pro-active Team Leader to join an evolving Care Company. You will need to have previous experience of working within a care role and experience of leading a team.

**The Role**
- Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower their team in supporting the people they support to achieve their goals and aspirations.
- You will be proactive and support the development and skills of Support Workers. This will include recruitment, induction, supervisions, annual appraisals, training, coaching, rota management, sickness and absence management.
- Take the lead to help Support Workers understand their responsibilities and by doing so ensure that safe, effective, caring, responsive and well lead support and care is delivered at all times.
- Ensure that all the people we support have person centred support/care plans. You will be able to create and update these plans as per any changes that are required.
- To oversee and support the development of excellent quality within the service. You will design, develop and maintain excellent service user records. Working in a supportive manner that empowers the service user to live their life in their chosen manner.
