Receptionist

Job title: Receptionist

**Salary**: £12,168 per annum

Location: Cumberland Court, 80 Mount Street, Nottingham NG1 6HH

Contract: Part time, permanent

Hours: 19.5 hours per week

Shifts: Wednesdays 1pm - 5:30pm, Thursday and Friday 8.5-hours between 8am to 5:30pm

Break details: No break on Wednesdays, 1-hour lunch on Thursdays and Fridays

Work model: In person

Interview process:
Primary: 1-hour meeting in person with the First Impression Team Leader

Secondary: 30-minute meeting in person with the Account Manager

Purpose of the role

A successful Receptionist should have a welcoming and pleasant personality, with the ability to easily build rapport with people. They should be able to deal with urgent tasks in a timely and effective manner, and the ability to multitask is important for this position. This is a hands-on role and will involve working alongside team members to deliver an overall exceptional service to our clients.

Key responsibilities- Answer incoming calls, received on a multi-line phone system, in a cordial, professional and timely manner. Transfer calls to appropriate individuals- Greet clients and visitors to the office with warmth and professionalism. Notify employees of visitor’s arrival when necessary- Provide high level services to staff, clients and guests- Organising catering (hospitality)- Supervising and assisting at events- Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues- Setting up meeting rooms- Setting up basic IT requests for client meetings- Diary management and planning, including meeting room bookings- Responsible for personal H&S- Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness in the hospitality environment- Ensuring a warm and professional welcome for all clients and visitors- Suggesting potential improvements to the First Impression Team Leader- To be aware of the day to day Health and Safety requirements surrounding working area- To immediately raise any Health and Safety concerns to the manager or team leader- To participate in any on site Health and Safety audits or assessments- Assisting with other legal admin tasks when required- Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel- Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Self-motivated and the ability to multi-task
