LAB ASSISTANT

The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our laboratory facilities, working closely with the Laboratory testing teams to ensure it is a tidy environment and eliminate potential safety issues. They will also support the teamwith occasional product testing and other duties to support this.

Key responsibilities include:

- Maintaining both laboratories in a clean and tidy state to prevent and eliminate potential safety issues.
- Reporting damage to laboratory fabric or failing equipment to the QC Manager in a timely manner.
- Promoting and support a safety culture within the laboratories, following Plant Safety policies and procedures.
- reparation of media and controls for the MBA Laboratory.
- Actively monitoring and maintaining the analytical bench reagents within their expiry dates, disposing of those which have expired and are about to expire.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Have a clear and methodical approach to work.
- Be able to work alone, with mínimal supervision or as part of a team.
- Have good communication skills.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
