Playball Richmond, Kingston, Barnes are looking to recruit a passionate and skilled sports coach to work within our centres, schools and nurseries. We are looking for a fun, energetic and outgoing person to engage our 2-9 year old children in our structured yet creative sports development program.

Full training will be given however experience in either childcare or sport coaching is an advantage. You would need to commit for at least a year and the role will be based in Kingston, Richmond and Barnes so own transport is essential.

**Full time Position**
(Sports coaching)
22-27 hrs per week Mon-Fri during school term time.
3 hrs on a Saturday morning during school term time.

Holiday Camps during the school Holidays

(Plus opportunities to earn extra income)
Weekend Children's parties.

Must be fluent in English, speaking and written

You will need a DBS check for this position.

**Main Duties and responsibilities**:

- To be an ambassador for Playball, positively promoting the programme and encouraging participation
- Plan and enthusiastically deliver Playball lessons
- Teach classes to children aged 2 - 9
- Responsible for the safety of all participants including ensuring the safe use of equipment
- To set up all equipment and activity areas
- To be a positive role model
- Communicate effectively with the parents and Head Coaches
- Maintain good relationships with parents, exceeding their expectations by ensuring excellent customer service is delivered.
- Carry out administrative duties as necessary, for example taking registers or recording any accidents and injuries

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Having worked with children previously is desirable however all early years requirements will be provided as part of your training
- A keen interest in sport and an active lifestyle is required
- Various qualifications will be completed once you have started your training such as first aid, safeguarding and other applicable modules.
- Good people skills
- You must be able to complete end of term reports accurately and professionally
- You will need a clear DBS for this role

**Salary**: £17.50-£30.00 per hour

**Experience**:
