Area Sales Manager

Sanderson are partnering with a market leading global manufacturer, who are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This is a busy and varied position in which you will be responsible for managing and developing relationshipswith existing and potential clients.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Manage and develop relationships with account holding roofing contractors, both commercially and technically
- Delivery of the business targets and goals within your area and work as an integral part of the UK Sales Team
- Supporting the specification team by means of specifier interaction, influencing and support (including technical support where appropriate) more generally
- Provide input to your area sales strategy, aligned with wider business needs
- Develop relationships with account and non-account holding merchants and specialist distribution across the defined geographical area; both commercially and technically

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Proven track record of external Sales experience in the construction sector.
- Experience working with Contractors, Distribution and House Builder sectors.
- PC and CRM experience and literacy
- A good understanding of Route to market
- Ability to demonstrate Negotiation and Influencing skills
- Good communication skills at all levels in appropriate medium
- Ability to demonstrate how to build and maintain strong relationships
- Ability to demonstrate process to problem solving
- Data Driven planning and decision making.

This is a permanent, full-time role offering the opportunity to travel to various destinations in the Southern Region. Offering a salary of £40k + £500PM Car allowance + sales bonus (OTE £55-£60k)
