Property Inspector

Property inspections are a fundamental part of the lettings process. They provide Clever and landlords with the opportunity to assess how the tenants are treating their home, as well as identify - and take steps to resolve - any potential issues.

An attention to detail is vital, plus the ability to write a detailed report with accompanying photographs. We use a cloud based software with easy to follow templates. Full training will be provided. This is not be an office based role and you will spend the majority of your day inspecting properties. A driving license is absolutely essential for this role. Mileage is paid.

Good life experience and an ability to negotiate with people of all backgrounds is vital, many of our tenants are international students or young adults that may be away from home for the first time, this requires patience and reassurance when explaining responsibilities of looking after their student property.

We have a duty of care to students and it is vital we identify potential hazards and maintenance issues that could endanger their wellbeing.

We are flexible regarding hours for part time positions, full time position is 37.5 hours per week.

Due to the nature of this work, a DBS check will be required
