Infrastructure Engineer
Runcorn/Remote (on site as required)
£40K-£45K

An Infrastructure Engineer is required for our healthcare client who are based in Runcorn. This is mainly a remote role, but you will need to visit the site when required.

Essential Skills/Experience:
Key Experience
Experience of planning and delivering infrastructure changes to deadlines
Experience of working in an IT environment with ITIL processes is desirable
Experience of working in a customer facing environment on telephone and face to face
Experience within IT service delivery

Knowledge and skills
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience in incident trending and analysis
Expert level experience of some or all of:
Microsoft Windows Server and desktop operating systems
Active Directory administration
MS Exchange administration
VMWare infrastructure and Technologies
Fortinet Firewalls
Cisco network devices
TCP/IP, LAN, and WAN troubleshooting
Backup & Storage systems
Microsoft RDS administration
Microsoft SQL configuration and administration
UNIX
Hardware, peripherals, mobile devices
Anti-Virus & anti-spam system
Encryption Technologies including BitLocker configuration
Remote access systems

CSD
Butema MDE / AT
Cisco switching
NetApp
EMC Avamar
Catalogic DPX
PlanetPress
ColumbusDW

**Qualifications**:
ITIL V3 at least to foundation level is desirable.
MCP certification or IT specific qualification are desirable
VCP certification is desirable
CCNA or equivalent certification is desirable
