As a Waste Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper disposal and recycling of waste materials in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner. Your duties will include collecting, sorting, and disposing of waste according to company guidelines and regulations.

**Responsibilities**: - Collecting waste materials from designated areas within the facility - Sorting waste into different categories for recycling or disposal - Operating waste disposal equipment such as compactors and balers - Ensuring that waste is disposed of in compliance with health and safety regulations - Keeping work areas clean and organized - Reporting any issues or concerns to the supervisor - Assisting with other tasks as needed

**Requirements**: - Previous experience in waste management or a related field is preferred but not required - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail - Good communication skills - Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects - Knowledge of waste disposal regulations is a plus
