Senior Night Carer

We are a Residential Care Home for the elderly/EMI, based in Porthcawl. Leading a team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care
You will promote independence, choice, dignity and respect through the hands on care you deliver to our residents
You will get to know our residents and their families - helping to ensure we deliver truly personalised care plans
Assisting the Care Manager, you will be involved in providing essential physical and mental care, as well as administering medication.
One of your key responsibilities is to maintain accurate records of the job you do and build strong relationships with the rest of your team.

This is a full time (35 hrs a week) role, which will predominantly be on nights but there may be a requirement for some day to provide for annual leave and/or sickness cover etc. The shift pattern involves working 4 nights one week totalling 40hrs and 3 nights the next week totalling 30 hrs. Weekend working is required and will be an alternate pattern. We would consider taking on Care who would be willing to train to become a Senior. The hourly rate would reflect this. You will be predominantly located in one location but may be asked to cover in our other Care Home, which is also in Porthcawl.
