Toolmaker

Working for a well-established die-casting and engineering company supplying aluminium components to a wide range of industries. You will be working in our on-site tool room providing assistance and support to the manufacturing departments (gravity and pressure foundries and machine-shop).

The main role is to fabricate and repair die-casting tooling, press tooling, jigs and fixtures.

**Skills/Qualifications**:
You must have completed an engineering apprenticeship in either toolmaking or fitting in order to do this job. Applicants who are time served in an engineering workshop will also be considered.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate competence in all or most of the following skills: Operating conventional millers, lathes, grinders, wire erosion, bench fitting skills - assembly, proof marking, aligning & adjusting, checking.

This is a permanent, full-time position.

**Day shift hours**: 7.00am to 15.15pm Monday to Thursday

7.00am to 1.15pm Friday

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £14.30-£15.30 per hour
