Inventory Clerk

**Pay Rate: RCS P**
**Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)**
**Shift patterns: Mon - Fri (Sat, Sun Off)**
**Working: 40 hrs a week (6:00 -14:00 | 14:00 -22:00)**
**Location: Basingstoke - RG21 3NB**

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Inventory Clerk to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

**WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?**
- Assist the First Line managers with the management of the inventory
- Responsible for the weekly cycle counting / Perpetual Inventory counts as stipulated by the FLM
- Work with the First Line Managers to ensure best utilisation of space
- Update the warehouse management system with stock movements
- Report any discrepancies to Management
- Resolve all stock discrepancies
- Assist in Client Stock takes

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU
- Experience in data analysis and data entry - Desirable
- Practical knowledge of logistics WMS software - Desirable
- Stock / Inventory experience - is desirable
- The role is based in an office with occasonal warehouse visit
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
- Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions.
- Ability to count accurately and to perform simple math calculations.
