Kitchen Assistant

Priory Adult Care are looking for an enthusiastic kitchen assistant for our site based in Bourne. Abbey Court is a 88 bedded purpose built care home situated in Bourne, North of Peterborough that has been designed for older people requiring residential and nursing care. The home is conveniently located in the residential area of Falcon Way, providing residents with a peaceful environment. The home is modern and homely, offering a supportive environment with en-suite bedrooms and comfortable lounge areas. The home also benefits from a beautiful peaceful garden for our residents to enjoy.

**The Role**:
As kitchen assistant, you will help assist kitchen staff to provide high quality food and hospitality for our residents. Working to the highest on standards, ensuring dietary requirements of all the residents are met. You will
- Work alongside kitchen staff to help prepare food and meals
- General kitchen housekeeping, ensuring the kitchen meets high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in line with the Health and Safety and Company guidelines to ensure safe working practice within the Home.
- Serving food/drinks/snacks to the residents at meal times
- Cleaning after service (Dishwasher duties, clearing down tables, preparation benches)
