IT Teacher

We are working with the **Ministry Of Defence, **who are seeking **IT Teachers** to deliver lectures and practical training to future defence professionals.

This role would be suitable for:

- IT/Computing graduates:_ who have completed a Level 4 or 5 teaching qualification (Comprehensive teacher training will be provided).
- Qualified IT Teachers: _who are looking for a regular 37 hour working week and would enjoy working with disciplined students.

**Salary: **£33,700pa starting salary & Discretionary performance bonus.

**Location**: Blandford Camp, Dorset (Accommodation/relocation options are available).

**Contract**: Permanent

**Working pattern**:37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

**The Role**:
The Royal Signals are one of the combat support arms of the British Army. Signals units are among the first into action, providing the battlefield communications and information systems essential to all operations.

You will instruct soldiers aged 18-28 years old who need to pass exams in order to be released into the field. With a practical focus to the teaching, you will enable pupils to demonstrate that they can operate, maintain and repair operating and networkingcommunication systems.
- _Networking:_ CISCO Net Academy syllabus for CCNA and CCNP
- _Operating systems:_ Microsoft Server, Exchange and Windows 10. CompTIA A+ & Server+

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training
- Eligible to obtain National Security clearance to SC level (UK Citizen and resident in the UK for the last 5 years)

**Desirable**:

- Cert Ed or PGCE qualification
