**Job Title**:Manual Machinist (Turner/Miller)

**Hourly Rate**:Rate of pay is dependant on experience and qualifications.

**Hours**:Basic of 40 hours + opportunity of overtime is provided and will be required on occasion.

**About the Role**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Manual Machinist to join our growing Engineering business. This is an exciting prospect for you to be a part of a well-established and well organised team working on projects for our varied clientele base worldwide.

**General Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure full compliance with the companies Health and Safety procedures
- Understand and read technical drawings
- Select appropriate materials and tooling
- Manually machine components, as per drawing requirements (manual only)
- Accurate completion of timesheets and inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment

**Person Specification**
- Experience as a Miller / Turner - minimum 5 years
- Strong and technical background with the ability to work on self-initiative, be self-motivated, enthusiastic and adaptable
- Reliable and accurate with a strong attention to detail
- Strong co-ordination skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work well as part of a team

Driving Licence: Essential

Passport: Desirable
