Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our construction projects. Responsibilities: - Operate cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment according to project requirements - Perform pre-operational inspections of the crane to ensure it is in proper working condition - Safely rig loads and attach them to the crane using appropriate lifting devices - Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries - Communicate with ground crew and other team members to ensure smooth operations - Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including load charts, maintenance logs, and inspection reports - Adhere to project schedules and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality Experience: - Proven experience as a Crane Operator in a construction or industrial setting - Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety procedures - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and load charts - Proficient in operating various types of cranes, including mobile cranes, tower cranes, or overhead cranes - Familiarity with forklift operation and basic mechanical knowledge is a plus - Experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations is beneficial - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred If you are a skilled Crane Operator with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety, we encourage you to apply.
