**The role**:
This client currently have one position open, due to growth for an experienced Java Software Engineer to join their product team working with modern technologies to develop features. You'll be developing both existing and fresh new features for a large customerbase.

You may be looking for your 2nd or 3rd position in the industry, or you may have been working in your current company for a longer stint and just ready for a change of environment Either way, we'd love to hear from you.

This is your chance to be working in a highly collaborative, cross functional team of software engineers along side product owners, QA Engineers, Scrum Master, BA's and a Team Lead. You'll e contributing to a variety of both internal and external customerfacing systems, getting involved with their mission to make lives simpler for their customers

Ultimately, they're looking for software engineers who want to learn and have a passion for building great software. If you're someone who loves to be part of a close-knit, supportive team who you can also learn a lot from. **Technologies**:
Their tech stack includes Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React, AWS, PostgreSQL, Rest APIS, GraphQL, AWS, Kubernetes and are always adapting to new technologies to improve their product to ultimately deliver an outstanding customer experience.

They stay accountable and focused on the finest level of software craft, you can expect to be following best practices such as TDD, Automation, CI/CD pipelines, pair programming and are always sharing feedback with each other to help improve things.

**About you**:
Ultimately, this engineering team are looking for a dedicated and passionate software engineer who would like to work for a company that are helping to improve lives. They are an ethical business, and encourage personal learning and development both insideand outside of work.

**Experience required**:

- Strong Java skills and familiar with Spring frameworks
- Experience working with the Cloud (they use AWS) along with CI/CD - they have recently adopted more of a GitOps approach
- Automation and TDD experience
- All good round attitude towards learning and collaborating with team members
- Experienced with REST APIs (you'll also get the chance to work with GraphQL)
