- **Excellent knowledge and hold qualifications, which should include**:_
- Recognised Performing Arts Based Teaching qualifications to include dance and drama
- Child Protection certificate
- First Aid certificate
- Enhanced DBS clearance and/or no convictions.
- Experience and knowledge of working with children & young people
- Competent in literacy & numeracy to a level 2 standard
- **Competency to perform at consistently high standards in a school environment**:_
- Be able to plan a range of innovative coaching sessions and programs
- Set up & deliver high quality coaching sessions to children and young people
- Develop and inspire young people to live and lead active lifestyles
- Be able to produce accurate assessments and reports on children and young people’s progress
- **Main Duties**:_

Delivering dance, drama & musical theatre activities to children and young people, both in school curriculum time following the National Curriculum and/or set programs of study. Also deliver a range of OSHL, (Out Of School Hours Learning) extracurricular activities before school, at lunch times, after school and during the school holiday periods
- **Salary / Hours;**_

Part Time - Majority of work during afternoons during term time

School Holiday work available from 09.00 - 15.30

Salary Based on Experience

- **Skills and Experience**_ _**:_

Own transport and basic computer skills are required and must be reliable with strong time management skills. Applicants must also be self-motivated and have a passion for performing arts delivery in inspiring young people through engagement and participation in physical activity. Previous performing arts instructing in a school environment would be highly beneficial to the applicant.

Applicants will be asked to attend a 3 stage formal interview process which will involve delivery of a practical session to a group of children/young people

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
