Warehouse Support Operative

**Purpose of the Post**

To deliver excellent Customer Service regarding the picking, packing and distribution of automotive tools to a wide and varying customer base. To strive for 100% order fulfilment and picking accuracy and to form an integral and important link in the team at Tool Truck.

**Responsibilities**
- Picking customer orders via hand operated scanners, ensuring accuracy in all orders
- Packing customer orders, ensuring all goods are present and correct
- Participating in stock counts
- Working in the Goods In department, receiving, checking and putting away goods
- Taking direction from the Warehouse Manager and or Supervisor for daily tasks
- Ensuring that workplace is kept tidy, clean and safe
- Being an active member of the Supply Chain team, suggesting improvements
- Collating paperwork for UK and international orders
- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork
- Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures
- Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Manager or Supervisor
- Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
- Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
- Treating merchandise with care and concern at all times
- Following all Health and Safety rules
- providing feedback and ideas for improvement

As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for various tasks, including shipping and receiving, order picking and packing, inventory management, and equipment maintenance. Your attention to detail, physical stamina, and mechanical knowledge will contribute to the smooth flow of operations.

Please note that this position may require heavy lifting and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.

**Salary**: Up to £21,674.00 per year
