Several of our existing Senior Managers started their careers with us a Children's Activity Coordinator and this role offers the ideal introduction into a career in Playwork and school age childcare and activities.

**The Role**

Our team of Children's Activity Coordinators are very much the engine room of our business. Under the constant supervision of Senior Managers you will have the opportunity to learn every detail that supports our ability to deliver high quality activities and childcare to school age children. With a particular focus on ensuring our breakfast, after school and holiday clubs are suitably resourced and prepared to operate each day, as well as gaining hands on experience by directly managing our clubs on a daily basis, it is fair to say in this exciting and developmental role, no day will ever be the same

**Main Responsibilities**
- Under the direction of head office department managers, assist with the preparation of operational resources and paperwork, equipment inventories, activity programme development and marketing of provision to parents and schools
- Directly manage a breakfast, after school and/or holiday club each day, including the day-to day management of club staff
- Provide a safe and secure environment for the children in your care to explore, grow, inspire and have FUN
- Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards and KOOSA Kids internal policies and procedures
- Arrange and lead team meetings with club staff

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience of working in the Wraparound/Playwork sector, in a Primary School, Pre-School, Nursery or Sports setting desirable but not essential.
- Full driving license with access to your own vehicle **essential**:

- Be inspirational, bringing fun and creativeness to the team
- Be able to relate and engage with children aged between 4 - 13 years
- Be a people person with strong communication skills
- Be able to motivate others to deliver to the highest standard
- Have the ability to be cleared for an enhanced DBS check

**Hours**

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
