This is an ideal role for a committed payroll professional to join a high-profile media business and utilise their payroll experience and qualifications in a diverse and rewarding role.
As part of the Payroll team and broader HR function, in this newly created role you will be responsible for:
- Ensure the delivery of the monthly payroll including input, processing, and processing of changes from new starters to leavers.
- Collating accurately required data including statutory deductions, bonuses, and contractual and salary changes.
- Resolution of internal and external payroll queries, liaising with HR and staff in relation to benefits, statutory changes, and contracts.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial reporting, analysis, and collating data across headcount, budgets, and salary reviews, and other payments and deductions.
- Administration and maintenance of records relating to benefits, insurance, tax reductions, and adherence to GDPR and H&S requirements.
**Requirements**:
- Strong understanding of the requirement of payroll, ideally gained in conjunction with CIPP membership or studies.
- Ability to input complex payroll information into the HR and payroll system in an accurate and timely manner.
- Previous experience in an HR environment and in calculating and administration of benefits and bonuses, for permanent, casual, and contractors.
- Ability to communicate effectively with HR, external bodies, and staff in a clear and confident manner.
- Strong, accurate administration skills, advanced use of Excel and HR/Payroll systems.
