Throughout its 20 years+ of experience, they have become a global technology provider characterised by its proximity to customers, ongoing innovation and strong internationalisation. Since its creation, they have moved from being a small local stamping companyto a global company operating in the main auto manufacturing hubs.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Controller, you will be responsible for day to day control, management and reporting of operational activities, as well as providing financial guidance and support to other parts of the business. The role will also requirereporting, budgeting and forecasting tasks to be undertaken weekly, monthly and annually.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for;
- Working closely with Engineering Teams to ensure all master data is accurate for new part / project launches - comparing / and monitoring vs nominated Project Profitability levels
- Development of monthly operational performance information - looking at Actual Profit + Loss per project at Production EBITDA vs Standard. Identifying operational losses to allow the plant to make operational improvements
- Deputise for Financial Accountant - ensuring cross functionality across the finance team
- Weekly + Monthly reporting of key financial data to internal and UK Management Team
- Developing working capital improvement opportunities
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ability to explaining the rational behind each balance held.
- Work with Global / Local Purchasing to establish cost increase risks and opportunities, ensuring a clear link to Commercial to recover any increase that the plant has incurred
- Preparation of the audit packs (internal & external) with face discussions with the relevant audit teams
- Standardisation and simplification of processes

**You Will Be/Have**
As the Management Accountant, you will be;
- Either Part Qualified/Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or QBE
- A proactive approach to change with an ability to manage own workload and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver information in a concise manner.
- Experience of working with KPIs and developing internal performance measurement tools - Both financial and nonfinancial
- Experience of a similar role within manufacturing preferably, but not essential.
- Knowledge of SAP- preferable but not essential.
- Experience of delivering work process improvements throughout the business.
- An ability to analyse accounting information and provide data to demonstrate thought process

**Benefits**
As the management accountant you are entitled to a range of benefits;
- A competitive salary - £45,000 circa
- 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays, increasing to 27 days after one complete calendar year
