The Stroke & Neuro Therapy service is forward thinking and dynamic and well respected within the Trust. We work as an integrated therapy team comprising of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists and therapy assistants, providing high quality assessment and rehabilitation across the Stroke and neuro patient pathway.

**Base Location**: Royal Bournemouth Hospital

**Interview Date**: TBC

The key responsibilities of the position will be to work closely with the Stroke and Neuro MDT team to support patients following a neurological event with their rehabilitation. The role involves primarily supporting patients on a 1:1 basis, in groups, and alongside qualified therapists to help patients regain their independence. This may include supporting patients to achieve independence in personal care such as toileting, washing and dressing. Clinical support and training will be provided by qualified therapists as part of the wider MDT. This is a great opportunity to gain new skills and work in an exciting and dynamic team.

The post-holder will need to hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car. It is also essential to have some basic IT skills.
