We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Operations Manager who is responsible for the control and delivery of the day-to-day train service requirement for AWC network. Ensuring the delivery of a high quality and efficient operational processes which delivers 100% service to customer through efficient management of available resources.

- Managing day to day operational activities to fulfil customer requirements OTIF to specification.
- Adherence to compliance both internal and external regulatory bodies.
- Monitor agreed resource level across site in line with budgets, and productivity targets.
- Engage with Union to facilitate collaboration between management and colleagues.
- Record and proactively manage KPI's to drive continuous improvement in the service level and cost performance to AWC.
- Work closely with H&S and Food technical team to ensure all standards of food safety are followed.
- Liaise with Food Technical team on safety audits and support implementation plans.

- Previous experience within catering logistics operation or Warehouse Food logistics operations.
- Ability to manage HR functions at site level.
- Strong people management skills and ability to tailor communication style to all audiences.
- Ability to manage teams through shift/operations managers.
- IT literate- particularly capable to input, manipulate and analyse Excel data.
