Targe Towing Limited is a subsidiary of the Forth Ports Group and is responsible for providing marine services for the INEOS Forties Pipeline System (FPS) at Hound Point Marine Terminal in the Firth of Forth.

**About The Role**

**About the role**

Our Terminal Operators are accountable to Targe Towing Limited Management for the delivery of their duties and are functionally responsible to the INEOS Forties Pipeline System (FPS) Marine Supervisor for day-to-day activities at Hound Point Marine Terminal.

The primary function of this role is to assist the FPS Marine Supervisor in the berthing of tankers at the offshore jetty and ensure that the transfer of cargo is carried out in a safe, efficient and environmentally conscious manner.

You will work 12-hour shifts, varying between day and night shifts on a 5-week rota cycle. Transfer to Hound Point Marine Terminal is by crew transfer vessel from Hawes Pier in South Queensferry.

In addition to the above, you will also be required to undertake a number of other key duties, including:

- Provide assistance during vessel mooring and un-mooring operations at Hound Point Marine Terminal and undertake all duties as directed by the FPS Marine Supervisor for the safe and efficient handling of cargo and utility hoses.
- Undertake routine husbandry and maintenance of the Terminal facilities, and associated equipment as directed by the FPS Marine Supervisor.
- Understand and adhere to the relevant Targe Towing Limited and FPS Procedures and Regulations. In particular, those which detail all duties and responsibilities in the event of fire, pollution and emergency evacuation.
- Demonstrate an understanding of COSHH principles, including the handling of hazardous substances.
- Participate and assist in safety related meetings, drills and training programmes.

**What are we looking for?**
- Applicants must be health and safety focused and prepared to work to the highest standards as part of a team in a highly controlled safety critical working environment.
- Relevant health and safety qualification.
- Demonstrated experience of working in an industrialised environment.
- Oil and Gas industry experience would also be advantageous.
- A willingness to work in a role which is physically demanding and requires working in all weathers.
- Full UK driving licence.
