**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
- This role has responsibilities, which include but are not limited to;_
- Represent and be the face of the hotel/bar to all guests
- Must be highly interactive
- Appearance must be clean, tidy and to brand standard at all times - dress code is night out and business meeting
- Behave in a friendly and courteous manner during all interactions
- Greet guests with a warm welcome, open body language and a smile always as this can impact on how guests respond to the company’s offers
- Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of professionalism
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Understand layout, floor plan and different seating styles based on group size and demographic
- Allocate tables for each reservation based on guest and business needs
- Lead guests to their seats and make sure they are properly served
- Guide guests in a timely fashion and building repoire
- Ensure that guests are always comfortable and made to feel welcome
- Ensure guests are seated comfortably and are also managed in orderly manner
- move around the establishment to make sure all guests are well taken care of
- Entertain walk-in guests who have found their own seats and advise them accordingly always accommodating them as much as possible
- Make efforts towards pacifying displeased guests and if things get out of hands, revert to the appropriate supervisor
- Oversee and keep track of minimum spends in accordance to prearrangement
- Work together with the management and other members of staff of the company in order to ensure top quality service delivery to guests
- Explain breakfast concept and log hotel guest details
- Accommodate to the needs of the guests to the best of one’s ability
- Exercise efficient communication to floor staff and bar staff
- Have a sound knowledge of the area and local venues
- Exercise due diligence with regard to the entry of guests entering the premises
- Perform other duties/tasks and projects as assigned
- Abide by the policies and procedures as set out in the Associate Handbook and any other applicable policies
- As per business needs and at the request of direct supervisor and/or management, the talent could be required to perform other tasks outside of those listed above._

- Possess a good command of English
- An excellent verbal manner and proven customer service skills
- Good knowledge or experience of the hospitality industry
- Good organisation skills with an attention to detail
- A team Player with flexible & positive attitude
- Hardworking and consistent

DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES
- Previous experience in hosting
- Previous experience using booking systems
- Be able to demonstrate experience in complaint handling
- Passion for the hospitality industry
- Able to work in a fast paced environment & remain calm under pressure
- Previous brand experience or knowledge
