Labour Hire is looking for a TIG WELDER for a well-established company in GREENFIELD, OLDHAM.

This is a full-time, permanent position with NO agency probation period

**About You**:

- Methodical and diligent in approach to work.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Good attendance and timekeeping.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with welding metal components
- You will be able to operate gas and non-gas welding device in carrying out welding duties
- You will be able to measure accurately using a tape measure.
- Problem-solving Skill to assess metal structures to identify and repair any of damaged welds
- Read and interpret drawings
- Be able to follow instructions and complete work to a high standard
- Attention to detail
- Follow all health and safety procedures set out by the company to maintain a safe working environment for all Wear the correct PPE whilst carrying out the welding role

**About the Role**:

- Monday-Thursday 13:45-22:00 Friday 12:30-19:30
- Rate: Negotiable (dependant on experience)
- Measure and align work pieces using straightedges, clamps, and callipers
- Ensure compliance with established health/safety policies and regulations
- Carry out grinding and thermal cutting operations to obtain various textures and sizes for metal parts
- Oversee the set-up of TIG welding equipment
- Operate power and hand tools such as arc welders, buffing machine, and scrapers
- Maintain good working knowledge of the welding characteristics of metals
- Ensure welding operations meet set specifications and construction requirements
