Our client is looking for a SHEQ Manager to join their lovely team in Stockport and support and advise the Business on all aspects with regards to Health and Safety, Environment, and Quality. Alongside working in a very well established company, this rolecomes with some excellent benefits such as, an excellent working environment and potential for bonus.

**Salary**: £35,000 - £40,000

**Hours**: Full-time

**Duties**:

- Develop, maintain and administer effective occupational health, safety, ergonomics and industrial hygiene programs, including health services functions and maintenance of related policy and procedures.
- Ensure the site meets its statutory compliance, environmental and waste management obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting
- Ensure full and accurate health and safety and training records are maintained
- Sustain and drive improvements to adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accreditations
- Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated
- Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations
- Establish a full programme of documented health & safety inspections, audits and checks
- Establish a structured programme of health & safety training throughout the site
- Engage and collaborate with local management and workforce to ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health

**Requirements**:

- Experience of formulating, implementing and revising H&S policies and procedures
- Provision of advice to managers/supervisors
- Handling of EHS investigations
- Experienced and competent in Lean techniques such as 8D, RCCM, 5 Whys
- Experience of dealing with quality issues/non-conformance
- IOSH training (Managing Safely)
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards and requirements
- Understanding of QMS
- Strong IT skills
