JOB SPECIFICATION
We are looking for Operators to work within our Extrusion Department. We use a variety of Extruders, and we are looking for Operators to work on a 3 shift pattern (6-2pm, 2-10pm and 10-6am) covering 5 days a week production.
THE ROLE
To operate Extruders safely in order to produce the product to the correct customer specification.
Ensure raw material supplies and material feed are maintained.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (Health and Safety, Quality, Hygiene, PPE and Production).
Ensure that all Quality Assurance checks are carried out so that defective quality products do not reach the customer.
THE PERSON
Has worked in a factory environment previously
Has a practical mind with some basic mechanical knowledge
Has great attention to detail
Is organised and calm under pressure
Proven work ethic and excellent attendance record
Previous extrusion operating experience would be advantageous, but not essential, as full training will be given.
