Nine Twenty our working with our client who are a longstanding business specialising in providing road and sea transport for waste & energy. They are looking for a skilled HGV Tyre Fitter to join the team permanently. This role will be predominantly based in Stirling however, visits to other sites as required.

You will support the workshop team and labouring staff to ensure equipment and process parameters are adhered to in accordance with regulatory guidance. You will ensure equipment and asset breakdowns are addressed in a timely manner and closure is reached on all repairs to ensure mínimal impact to transport and projects. You will work in partnership with Transport Office to ensure potential problems are addressed before they impact on operational delivery and ensure continual improvement.

The role:

- Conducting safety & risk assessments
- Delivery of all defects and breakdowns
- Development and maintenance of site assets and equipment
- Commercial tyre removal & refitting
- Equipment breakdown support & roadside assistance
- Re-grooving of commercial tyres
- Skill set development to reduce/eliminate on site supplier support requirements
- Monthly fleet tread depth inspections
- Ability to correctly identify different tyre sizes and brands
- Asset development/robustness - process improvement

**Experienced required**:

- Experience in a related discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Commercial tyre fitting, roadside assistance, plant fitting
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
