**Role Overview**

We are currently recruiting for an Senior HR Advisor to join this highly successful site. You will be working as part of a busy team supporting and advising the business on all people issues. You will work in partnership with managers from allocated business areas. This is a full generalist role involving all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

Reporting directly to the HR Manager you will also be responsible for two direct reports in the HR Team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure all activities are within HR Budget.
- Responsible for the provision of professional HR services to circa 500 employees.
- To complete salaried payrolls such as Starters, Leavers, Overtime, Transfers etc
- To provide advice and services for the recruitment, selection and induction of staff up to Manager level.
- To ensure site-wide awareness and understanding of all relevant Company policies and procedures.
- Providing pro-active support and guidance to line managers on all operational HR issues and in the areas of HR policies, procedures and best practice including disciplinaries, grievances, restructures, redundancy, employment law and performance management issues to ensure compliance with legislation and to contribute to the effective management of staff.
- To help develop and maintain a co-operative employee relations climate. Develop and maintain dialogue and positive relationships with staff, union and forum representatives and agencies to ensure good relations are fostered.
- To ensure efficient and accurate maintenance of HR systems.
- Alongside the HR Manager to participate in the development of personnel policies and procedures.
- To deliver the site Communications strategy, working with the site team and to co-ordinate divisional and 2 Sisters Food Group communication initiatives.
- To support the development and delivery of training and development on site, in line with the business strategy.
- Developing and implementing systems to ensure efficient and effective processing and management of information, overseeing day to day administration.
- Working alongside the HR Manager and Training Coordinator to assist in the identification of training needs. Plan and deliver training courses to meet the needs identified.
- To complete the weekly and monthly HR reports ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.

**What You Will Need**
- Must have experience in a big manufacturing company (ideally food)
- Level 3 CIPD qualified _(desirable)_
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work to deadlines
- A willingness to challenge constructively
- A strong generalist background including high volume recruitment, absence management and complex employee relations caseload
