About the job
- Working on various projects from the initial concept design through to final customer acceptance.
- Concept design of rotating precision machinery and development with confirmation by calculations or Finite analysis or similar.
- Support and problem-solve during manufacture, assembly, test
- Design & detail for manufacture including BOM creation
- Work to budgets and project timings
- CE marking of equipment
- Manage projects and work with customers as required
- Work with and consult suppliers as necessary
- Minimum of 1 year hands on experience in designing
- Degree/HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- A sound understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes
- Fully proficient in Microsoft Office products
