Goods in Lead

We have an exciting opportunity for Goods-In Leadto join our Warehouse Operations Team based in our Warehouse in Poole, to support logistics operations and deliveries to our High-Speed Crafts and Conventional Crafts sailing to Jersey, Guernsey, St Malo and Cherbourg.
We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about delivering our lifeline services to the Channel Islands, eager to learn, able to share our TRUE Values and be a key role model of our safety-first culture.
The primary purpose of this role is to take responsibility for the safe and efficient receipt, storage and documentation of goods into the Warehouse, while checking that all goods received are accurately all recorded.
**The Role**
Some of the Key Responsibilities for this role include;
- Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment
- Accurate first line receipt of all stock goods into Warehouse Management System
- Booking Freight collections for returns for repair/overhaul and special deliveries for projects such as Dry docks
- Liaising with senior ship’s staff, ship managers and the wider Technical Operations team to co-ordinate stock movements and ensure goods are sent and received in a timely manner.
- Creation of new products on WMS and maintenance of existing lines including dimensions and images.
- Creation and maintenance of stock movement notification spreadsheet to keep onboard teams aware of what is shipped and when to prevent losses.
- Provide support and cover for other warehouse leads, as required
