Sonographer

We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive Sonographer to join our Ultrasound team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed, supportive and dynamic team within the Division of Diagnostics and Clinical Support at Wirral University Teaching Hospital.

Applicants must hold a recognised ultrasound qualification (PgCert, PgDip, MSc or DMU) and be eligible to work in the United Kingdom with HCPC/NMC registration. Nuchal Translucency accreditation is desirable although full training will be given

A wide range of obstetric and non-obstetric examinations are undertaken across four sites on the Wirral Peninsula. Arrowe Park Hospital is the main hospital site and the other three are Birkenhead, Wallasey and Clatterbridge.

We can offer flexible working which can be agreed before commencing at the Trust.

A Recruitment and Retention Premium (RRP) of £4000 (pro rata) will be paid. This will be reviewed annually.

**Sonographers will be expected to have experience in**: General Abdominal, Pelvis, Obstetric and small parts scanning. Experience in paediatric scanning is desirable.
