Thomas Hardy Bottling Group is a unique, family owned, service company dedicated to the manufacturing and packaging of a wide variety of drinks. The Group has two production facilities in the Northwest that are currently able to package beer, cider, FAB’s, soft drinks, juice drinks and tonic waters into both glass and PET bottles.

To support our customer needs, we are delighted to be making a multimillion-pound investment in our Burtonwood site which will see us expand our packaging capability and increase capacity. The investment we are making will see us install an automated high-speed canning line that will be capable of producing over 350 million cans per year. As a result of this investment and internal changes we have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Burtonwood in the role of Logistics and Warehouse Controller.

**Performance Objectives**
- Accountable for all aspects of customers stock management, this includes ordering, receipting, issuing, returning and reporting.
- Accountable for accurate record keeping ensuring accurate stock management and traceability are maintained at all times.
- Undertake stock control investigations at customer request or when stock control files identify discrepancies.
- Responsible for the identification and implementation of improvement initiatives across Safety; Quality; Cost; Performance; Delivery and Morale.
- Accountable for working in a safe and quality focused manner to ensure the delivery of results prevents harm to people and our customers production.
- Key internal relationships will be with the Production Manager, Production Team Leaders and Production Operators.

**Personnel Specification**
- Compliance with all H&S legislation, COSHH, HACCP and BRC procedures.
- Clear and effective communicator with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity and accuracy of information in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated administrative skills.
- Experience of working with MRP systems such as SAP & Netsuite is preferred but not essential.
- Experience of working in a challenging quality and customer focused environment.
- Experience of high-pressure situations where decision making may be required with little supervision at a fast pace.
- FMCG experience within a packaging environment is preferred.
- Experience of managing a small team of staff.
