**Job Purpose**

As a Tractor Trailer Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over short or long distances using a tractor-trailer. Your role will involve communicating effectively with team members, driving safely and efficiently, and utilizing your mechanical knowledge to ensure the proper operation of the vehicle.

**The Position**
- Operate tractor/teleporters safely and efficiently in the backyard and on public roads
- Load and unload goods or containers of materials, manually or using equipment
- Transport materials to and from various locations as requested, in timely and safe manner
- Report any machinery issues or safety concerns to management promptly
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment and ensure machinery is kept in good working order
- Safely operate a forklift inside production buildings, stores and within the backyard (as required)
- Assist to stock trays and pallets as required
- Undertake any other duties as requested by your manager to meet the needs of the business
- Proven experience as a Tractor Driver or in a similar role within transport or agriculture
- A clean driving record
- Valid Teleporter license (with experience)
- B1 Forklift license (desirable but not essential)
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Methodical and diligent approach
- Good Spatial awareness
- Good Concentration skills
- Ability to work in a busy fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work in different weather conditions and adjust schedules as required

Pay: £13.13 per hour
