**Reservations Co-ordinator**

We are a 4* privately owned Hotel on the outskirts of Swindon with 108 bedrooms, 3 Bars, 2 Restaurants, extensive Conference & Banqueting facilities, Leisure Club & Secrets Beauty Salon & Spa.

We are a busy venue with corporate delegates, leisure guests, celebrations events, Christmas Parties and much more. We are currently looking for a Full Time Reservations Co-ordinator to join our team.

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Accurately input all bookings via our in-house system, creating written confirmations.
- Manage group bookings
- Liaise with customers to ensure that accurate details for each booking are obtained
- To consistently deliver an excellent service to all clients making enquiries or bookings at the hotel, with face to face and telephone meetings
- Establish client requirements & identify how the hotel can facilitate their needs
- To be fully conversant with the facilities, services & promotions offered by the hotel, and where possible to pass this information onto the customer whenever the opportunity arises
- Ensure billing accuracy & payment terms in line with company policy
- Upsell product & services during the booking process & recognise future sales opportunities
- Proactively seek new business whilst working to maintain existing clientele
- Actively working as part of a team and reporting to the Revenue Manager
- Working closely with other departments, you will identify operational challenges and will need to work together to solve and overcome these with alternative solutions
- Conduct show rounds as required and attend occasional off site sales events

**CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION**

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills who is able to communicate effectively with customers. Previous experience of working within a hotel, retail or sales environment is preferred, although this is not essential as on the job training will be provided.

This is a full time position, 37.5 hours per week. Working hours are Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm, although some flexibility is required for occasional sales events & appointments. Please forward your up to date CV with covering letter.
