Start People Ltd are recruiting on behalf of our nationwide manufacturing client based in Blackburn for the position of Machine Operative. This is a permanent position working a rotating shift pattern - you MUST be able to work both shifts.

There are opportunities to develop a career within the business very quickly. This role will enable you to 'stand in' for senior Operators when they are absent or on leave. This opportunity will mean you are fully trained and have the first chance of promotion when positions become available.

Requirements of a Machine Operative
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience working with Machines (2-3 years)
- Basic IT knowledge

Details:

- Salary - £11.30 per hour rising to £12.55 when in the 'Operator' role
- Salary - £22,916 to £25,451 per annum before overtime
- Overtime after 39 hours is time and a half and double time on Sundays/Bank
- 33 days holiday and £900 annual bonus
- Free On-Site parking

You will be required to attend a one stage interview prior to starting with our client - this can be organised following a successful pre-screen with Start People Ltd.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
