We are currently recruiting for a Chapel Attendant to join our dedicated team at Chichester Crematorium, Chichester.

This is a full time permanent position working 38.33 hours per week, Monday - Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm.

As a Chapel Attendant, your priority will be to maintain a high-quality environment, giving all visitors as sense of tranquillity, a place to pay their respects and remember loved ones
- Liaising with Funeral Directors and Ministers ensuring specific requests are carried out to meet the family's requirements including consideration of varying religious requirements.
- Take responsibility for the preparation of the chapel before and after each service and ensure the appropriate location of floral tributes.
- Ensuring music and webcasts are checked at the beginning of each day and operating the in-house music system during services (training will be given).
- Conduct witnessed interments and scattering of cremated remains.
- Keeping stock records of poly urns and assisting in the keeping of other records by computer.
