This is a fast based call centre opportunity that offers you a blend of contact centre customer service exposure and the chance to gain experience within credit collections. **Location**:Portsmouth, Hampshire.

**Where do you fit in?**

Reporting to the Credit Collections Team Leader you’ll be working as a part of a wider finance team to support our trade members to ensure their accounts are paid on time and within agreed terms. 47,000 trade members and growing, our collections team is sizable and well trained in providing fantastic service, whilst managing member expectations on contractual agreements and payment deadlines. Your day to day will involve working from a structured call centre scheduling system to undertake high volume of calls to existing trades (inbound and outbound), processing payments, setting up new direct debit schedules, agreeing on payment terms and removing any barriers to payment. You’ll also have an opportunity to work on a wide range of systems and tools including Sage, Zuora billing engine, Salesforce CRM and Web Office. Full training will be provided to ensure you are best set to accurately record information. We operate with integrity, handle each call with empathy and pull together as a team to deliver on targets set.

- Contracted hours are 35hours per week Mon to Saturday between 8am and 6pm. Current working pattern is Monday to Friday on a rolling shift basis for example 8-4, 8.30-4.30, 9-5, 9.30-5.30, 10-6. Saturdays are currently not covered but flexibility is required. Following training, we offer a mix of home and office based working. We could also consider part time.

**What do you need to succeed?**
- Fantastic phone manner and experience in managing difficult conversation and/or handling complaints, influencing customers etc.
- Your background could be from a contact centre, complaints, sales, credit control or any other profession where tenacity, resilience, self-motivation and proactivity are required to deliver results.
- You’ll be quick to learn, and able to think on your feet. You’ll have lots of training and help to succeed.
- Empathy, positivity and integrity go along way. We are non-scripted, personable and authentic.
