360 Excavator Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join our team. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, move, and grade earth or other materials. Your expertise in operating excavators will contribute to the successful completion of construction projects.

**Duties**:

- Operate and maneuver excavators to perform various tasks such as digging trenches, grading land, and moving materials
- Follow project plans and blueprints to ensure accurate excavation and grading
- Safely load and unload materials using the excavator's bucket or other attachments
- Conduct routine maintenance on the excavator to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with other team members on the construction site to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

**Skills**:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of excavator operations
- Valid CPCS/NPORS Card
- Proficient in operating excavators of various sizes and models
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of sitting and operating heavy machinery

Hours may vary between 40-60 per week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 1-3 months

Pay: £19.00-£21.00 per hour
