**About the role**

A key role within the Front of house team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the Food Beverage outlet/s run efficiently and that customers are enjoying what Sandburn Hall offers in Tykes Restaurant, Conference & Banqueting and the Sports bar.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities to include**:
As your team are the first people to meet our guests you will set the tone of our friendly Yorkshire welcome to Tykes providing exceptional guest service.
- Supporting the Head of departments and looking after all guests, leading the team, by being hands on and motivational.
- Co-ordinate communications between guests and staff to ensure everything is dealt with in a timely manner.
- Delegation of roles and responsibilities within team, and leading by example, being hands on.
- Ensure all events are prepped for.
- Play a key part in training the team, achieving the required service standards.
- Manage Tykes restaurant / Conference & banqueting in absence of manager.
- Cash handling, Till management end of day cash up and reports

**Sandburn Hall** is a family run leisure business in our 1000 acre estate. Our new 40-bed hotel is adding to the business which has an 18-hole golf course, Sports Bar, Tykes restaurant & 3 function rooms. We also have our 5 star Griffon Forest lodge complex also connected to Sandburn.
We are surrounded by beautiful lakes and woodland, located at Flaxton, just off the A64, approx. 8 miles from York. What makes us unique is that we are a large family run business that prides itself on having locally sourced produce, so we contribute to our local area and our employees are recognised as the ones that makes the business a success.

**Salary**: £23,400.00-£25,000.00 per year
