_**Manpower are recruiting Mechanical Fitters for our client based in NG23**_

Our client is one of the biggest infrastructure groups in the UK and this is an exciting opportunity to join a company that wants to help you progress through your career
As a Mechanical Fitter, your duties will include:

- Maintaining and repairing plant equipment using necessary methods
- Carrying out routine maintenance checks on equipment and checks on repaired plant - and notifying the chargehand of any issues
- Have an active involvement in team briefings and within the yard
- Working to company policies at all times and following procedures
- Come from a Mechanical background - you will possess at least an NVQ Level 2 in a relevant mechanical/maintenance qualification
- Be someone who is interested in mechanical maintenance and looking to progress their career
- Due to the location of the role, ideally you will possess a driving license and your own transport as public transport does not reach the area

This is a temp to perm position, working the hours of Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm, with two paid breaks and a lunch break
£13.50-£14.50 p/h
