**Payroll Assistant / £25k - £30k / Leamington Spa / Full-Time / Permanent**

Macildowie are pleased to be partnered with a growing multi-site client who are recruiting for a dynamic and motivated Payroll Bureau Administrator to join their Leamington office. The company operate in a number of different sectors and specialise in supportingsole traders and larger businesses through every stage of their personal and professional life. We are looking for a passionate individual who has a drive to be successful in their role. The wider team is extremely supportive with no office politics or 'blameculture'. This is a genuinely friendly team, in a nice relaxed environment.

**This position gives you the opportunity to be responsible for your own Payroll portfolio (size of the payrolls will vary).**

**Responsibilities**:

- End-to-end Payroll processing on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis
- Liaising with HMRC and setting up PAYE schemes with HMRC for clients
- Responding promptly to client queries
- Auto-enrolment Administration
- Calculating statutory leave payments such as SSP/SMP/SPP/SHPP
- Ensuring compliance with government guidelines

**Requirements**:

- **Previous experience working in a Payroll Bureau environment (at least 1 year)**:

- **Experience using Sage Payroll or Xero Payroll**:

- **Knowledge/experience of auto-enrolment**:

- Excellent time-management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be proactive when issues arise as well as resourceful
- Excellent customer service skills
- Adaptability (to a variety of responsibilities/tasks)
- Professional appearance and attitude
